HA (Expert Evidence; Mental Health) Sri Lanka [2022] UKUT 00111 (IAC)

The case:        This was the decision of the Upper Tribunal, following the setting aside by the Upper Tribunal of the decision of the First-tier Tribunal to allow the appellant’s appeal against the decision of the respondent to refuse the appellant’s human rights claim. At the hearing in respect of the re-making decision the Upper Tribunal heard oral evidence from Dr Raj Persaud and Professor Neil Greenberg, both of whom appeared as expert witnesses.
