Beattie Passive Norse Limited v Canham Consulting Limited [2021] EWHC 1116 (TCC)

The case: a claim in professional negligence brought against a practice of consulting engineers.

Evidence: The judge had to choose between the expert evidence of two structural engineers. He preferred the evidence of Mr X in all respects where that differed from the evidence of Mr Y. This was for the following reasons:
