Kathryn (Katie) is an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist and Certified Fellow of the Expert Witness Institute, with over 20 years’ experience across NHS and private services. She holds the Cardiff University Law School / Bond Solon Civil Expert Certificate and has over 15 years’ experience providing expert evidence in complex personal injury, clinical negligence, and employment tribunal cases.
She specialises in the psychological impact of trauma, persistent pain, chronic health conditions, and neurodiversity, and has provided oral evidence in civil courts and employment tribunals.
Katie is a Director of Applied Psychology Solutions and founder of Expert Insight, a platform providing psychology-specific training and resources for expert witnesses. She is also a Senior Lecturer and Academic Lead at the University of Exeter, serves on the Board of Governors of the Expert Witness Institute, and maintains a small private practice.
