New to expert witness work, or looking to refresh your CV? Join us for this session led by Beth Rigby. We will cover everything from the essentials regardless of discipline through to reassuring the court that you are indeed an expert in your field.

  • Essential elements for every expert CV irrespective of your discipline
  • Understanding what to include in your CV and what to leave out. 
  • How to present your CV within your report and tailor it to the cases you are instructed on where necessary
  • What the Court is looking for in an expert witness CV and using your CV to reassure the Court that you have the right experience for the case and that you are an expert in the field you are reporting on
  • What solicitors are looking for in a CV and using your CV to secure new instructions.
  • Ensuring your CV is detailed enough to identify potential conflicts of interest.

Training and Events - Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations received more than 50 business days prior to the event – A full refund will be given.
  • Cancellations received 26 -50 business days prior to the event – A 75% refund will be given.
  • Cancellations received 16-25 business days prior to the event – A 50% refund will be given.
  • Cancellations received less than 15 business days prior to the event – no refund will be given.

Please note, any delegates who do not attend on the day will not receive a refund.  Access to the event will be denied if payment in advance has not been made.

The EWI reserve the right to cancel any event with a minimum of 3 business days’ notice and will provide a full refund to delegates.
