A potential conflict of interest can result in an expert’s evidence being excluded or even the expert being struck off the professional register. Recent cases such as Secretariat v A Company [2021] EWCA Civ 6 and Bux v The General Medical Council [2021] EWHC 762 have shown the dangers that experts run if they do not put their minds to such conflicts.
Join Giles Eyre for this webinar which will look at some of these recent cases and the impact on the expert. He will highlight when, where and how experts should declare interests and highlight the liabilities for failing to do so.
