Forensic Science Regulator consultation on the code of practice

The Forensic Science Regulator is consulting on the draft for the development of version 2 of the forensic science code of practice. The code of practice is used to set standards for forensic science activities related to crime investigations.

The consultation is available at: Forensic science code of practice: version 2 - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) and closes on 10 March 2024.  

We will be providing a response to the consultation and would welcome the views of EWI members on the changes proposed to the code of practice to help inform the response.
