The Template Expert Terms and Conditions of Engagement should not be slavishly followed. Terms and Conditions are a very individual matter and hence the EWI Guidance is intended to be a guide and a prompt of typical clauses that the expert might consider to be included in their own Terms and Conditions of Engagement. Some clauses will not be relevant, and experts may consider that some clauses are too prescriptive. Experts may have additional clauses that they wish to include, and this guidance does not preclude that. If additional bespoke clauses are included, care should be taken to ensure that are consistent with the guidance clauses (if they are simultaneously used).
