Justin is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry. He formed Adair Ltd in 1994.
Chartered Quantity Surveyor regularly appointed as independent expert witness and single joint expert witness for the preparation of reports for litigation, arbitration and adjudication. Experienced in preparing reports on quantum of construction work, the quality of construction work and valuing defects. Expert in preparing reports in relation to professional negligence in relation to project management, contract administration and quantity surveying services. Expert in measurement of construction works, co-author of the RICS New Rules of Measurement Part 2 (NRM2).
Regularly appointed as party representative in adjudication proceedings by referring and responding party. Regularly instructed by solicitors in providing support in adjudication proceedings for claimant or defendant.
RICS QS and Construction Board Member, General Secretary of the European Council of Construction Economists, External Examiner for QS degree University, past Chairman of RICS Surrey Association and past board member of RICS South East Board.

Justin acts as an expert witness for construction claims, adjudications, arbitrations and civil proceedings, including those in the Technology and Construction Court within the High Court. He provides expert reports for construction disputes,in particular those relating to quantum, building defects, contracts, professional negligence,construction costs and fees.
Justin has acted as expert and single joint expert on many occasions.
