  • Consideration of the range of opinion with regards the diagnosis aspect of a medico legal report writing
  • Understanding the diagnostic framework and common diagnosis seen in a medico legal civil litigation clinic.

10th July, 10am-1pm: Civil Litigation for Clinical Psychologists - Part 2: Common themes and concerns in personal injury cases

  • Understanding the process of writing a medico legal civil litigation report from a psychologist’s perspective.
  • Where your work comes from and who you work for: The role of agencies, instructing parties and the court
  • Aspects to consider when assessing for a civil litigation case as a psychologist- including psychometrics, issues of malingering, attribution, vulnerability, treatment and prognosis.
  • Common issues regarding amendment requests, part 35 questions and joint statements.
CPD: 6 Hours (3 Hours per session)

Training and Events - Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations received more than 50 business days prior to the event – A full refund will be given.
  • Cancellations received 26 -50 business days prior to the event – A 75% refund will be given.
  • Cancellations received 16-25 business days prior to the event – A 50% refund will be given.
  • Cancellations received less than 15 business days prior to the event – no refund will be given.

Please note, any delegates who do not attend on the day will not receive a refund.  Access to the event will be denied if payment in advance has not been made.

The EWI reserve the right to cancel any event with a minimum of 3 business days’ notice and will provide a full refund to delegates.
