Summary:
Andrew is a financial expert with over 15 years of experience as a forensic accounting and an accounting expert witness in the areas of valuation, breach of contract and loss of profits, acquisitions and disposals, minority shareholder and joint venture disputes, matrimonial disputes and post acquisition disputes. He has testified in court and other tribunals in the UK in connection with significant commercial disputes.

Andrew has also been involved in major financial investigations, particularly in the engineering and construction sectors, and has given expert evidence in criminal proceedings brought against a director of a construction company in respect of fraudulent trading. He has also been appointed as an Inspector by the UK’s Department of Trade and Industry to investigate accounting irregularities at a retail company.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Andrew was a director in the Forensic Department of KPMG and led their Engineering and Construction team. Previously, he was in the Disputes Analysis and Investigations team with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London.

Andrew graduated with honors with a BSc degree in mathematics from Nottingham University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and currently a Governor and the Assistant Treasurer of the Expert Witness Institute.
